What is Snackpass?
Snackpass is a food service app, which allows users to order ahead of time at restaurants and pick up when they arrive. The app currently contains features such as the party feature. This lets friends within the app create a party to order food together and get discounts on their orders. Each restaurant can give rewards after a certain number of points are achieved from ordering from that restaurant. The app was developed by students at Yale, where they found their main demographic, college students. I chose to analyze the features of this app and design new UX/UI for Snackpass because I use it on a daily basis. I am able to see first hand the troubles that a user may encounter and create an app that solves the numerous issues within the app.
What's my process?
This was a project completed over the course of a semester with aid from some student mentors within the Web Development at Berkeley club.

My design process began with identifying the current features and pages within the app and determining the current information architecture. I then wanted to conduct user interviewers to help establish some issues with features and accessibility. For this, I gathered information about good points, pain points, user needs, and competitor usage. I conducted more market research comparing apps like Doordash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. All this information was laid out as such.

What'd I Learn?
Initially, the complete creative freedom of this project was daunting. However, throughout the process, I learned that it was okay to fail or dislike my initial ideas. With persistence and many iterations, I created a brand I am proud of. Introducing HeadQuarter, an office wear brand that aims to break the mold of traditional and dull office attire, targeting Gen-Z individuals entering the workforce who want to express their personality through their wardrobe.
